Refurbished Chromebook for Purchase (Smart Schools Only)
If you need a device and have access to WiFi, you can potentially purchase an inexpensive Chromebook. Contact your mentor to learn more▸
College Depot Loaner Laptop Program (for Grad Solutions & Smart Schools)
This is helpful for any students living in the Phoenix/Glendale area. If approved, you can rent a laptop and/or hotspot for 6 months through College Depot. Contact your mentor to learn more▸
Free WiFi and Computer Use at all HUB Locations
If you need easy access to WiFi or a computer, you come to any HUB location to use a laptop and get some coursework done. Learn more on our locations page▸
Parenting Assistance Resources
Hope Women's Center
They offer a holistic approach to the hurts of life by addressing each facet of a woman and providing her with tools and resources to discover her true value and worth. Contact your mentor to learn more▸
Maggie’s Place
They provide a variety of safe housing options for women who are pregnant or mothers with their young children. They offers many classes and support groups including: substance abuse counseling, peer support, mentoring, Triple P parenting classes, DCS reunification support groups, infant and car seat safety classes, breastfeeding support groups, nutritional support classes, financial literacy and GED programs, and job training. Early Head Start Program
They offer free full day childcare for families that qualify (for ages birth to age 5). To qualify the family must reside in a zip code deemed low income. The care is an active learning experience that will prepare your child for entering school. They offer medical, dental, social, and mental health resources for children and their families. New Life Pregnancy Center
New Life Pregnancy Center provides hope and care to those facing a pregnancy, planned or unplanned. Services include pregnancy tests, peer counseling, ultrasounds, parenting classes, post-abortion counseling and material assistance (free diapers, wipes, clothing and more). Learn more▸
Lyfepact
Delivers care packages with items like baby clothes, food, bottles, diapers to young moms 16-19 to know that they are not alone. Contact a resource specialist to learn more▸
Furnishing Dignity
This program helps provide furniture and household items to moms. They can also help with a car seat, and other basic childcare needs. Contact your mentor to learn more▸
DES Childcare
The Child Care Assistance Program helps families pay for quality child care, so that parents and legal guardians can work, go to school, or participate in other eligible activities. Choose from a network of providers, including child care centers, child care homes, and family members who contract with DES to care for eligible children and families. Learn more▸
Choices Pregnancy Center
They provide medical treatment for young moms needing counseling, health evaluations, ultrasounds, parenting courses, etc. and will help support dad’s too. Grief counseling is available for the loss of a baby. Choices will empower young women to make the best choice for care for them and their baby. Multiple locations are available all over the Valley. Younglives
Younglives is a program for young moms between the ages of 16- 21 that are seeking community, support and fun activities to engage in with one another. They meet in local community centers, engage in camps. go on outings and have one on one mentorship with Younglives volunteers. Learn more▸
Southwest Human Development Fussy Baby Program
This is a parenting assistance helpline providing support for parents concerned about their baby’s temperament and behavior. They teach strategies for the parent to reduce their own stress and provide care needed to soothe and comfort a fussy baby. Contact your mentor to learn more▸
Matthew's Closet (located at the Mesa HUB)
Matthew’s Closet is a charitable organization serving families with foster, kinship, and adoptive children. They occasionally can help Grad Solutions and Smart Schools students and families as well. Contact your mentor to learn more▸
Family Involvement Center
They work with you in your home or a community setting to provide support, build advocacy skills, share knowledge and help you connect with resources and services that are beneficial for your family. Learn more▸
Mother's Grace
Mother’s Grace is a community-driven organization devoted to providing essential support for moms and children facing acute life challenges. We extend critical assistance, including mortgage and rental aid, utility support, medical expenses, counseling, meals, and other services tailored to help families navigate crises. Aliento
Helps young people that are undocumented or are DACA students. They can consult with immigration attorneys and see what pathways are available to them. Contact your mentor to learn more▸
Catholic Charities
They can assist refugees to reunite adults with their minor children. They also support with employment authorization, travel documentation, DACA, VAWA (violence against women's act), deportaton defense and asylum, green card. Contact your mentor to learn more▸

Immigrant Hope
Immigrant Hope provides affordable and reliable immigration legal services through local church partners, helping individuals take their next step toward legal residency. Learn more▸
Matthew House
Matthew House builds bridges via housing subsidies, language and tutoring programs, cultural mentorship and employment coaching that create opportunities for families to fully engage and contribute to their new homes. Learn more▸
Winged Hope
Winged Hope's programs focus on preventing and healing family violence. They serve the community in three ways: with direct victims services, by renovating and starting new Family Advocacy Centers, and by providing training around the state. Contact your mentor to learn more▸
Always AZ
They offer no-cost legal services to support the safety, stability, and self-sufficiency of young people and trafficking survivors impacted by homelessness, human trafficking, abuse, and the foster care system. Services include full representation, consultations, and referrals, training, and system reform advocacy. Call: 602-248-7055
Center for the Rights of Abused Children
This is a service to represent abused children in their court cases free of charge. They also offer legal training on the dependency process and the rights of families involved in foster care. Learn more▸
